Microneedling / Mesotherapy

Microneedling mesotherapy is the most secure, hygienic, quick, and effective transdermal penetration system of the market.
It’s a type of treatment that uses small needles to cause tiny punctures in the skin.
These small contact points encourage the body to create a wound healing response and renew the skin cells. As your skin repairs, the production of collagen and elastin is triggered to give an almost immediate plumping effect. It can also help tackle other skin damage such as scarring, dark marks, sun damage and ageing.

You will see a plumping effect almost immediately, however the natural healing process takes time, so it can take up to six weeks before you see significant results. The process will continue over the following months and several treatments are usually required. How many treatments you need depends upon which skin area you want to treat and what you want to achieve. Generally, to treat basic skin problems, one will need three to six micro needling treatments for the best results. If you want to treat the extreme sun damage, deep wrinkles or scars, you will have to go for 6 or more micro needling treatments. Microneedling is a great treatment for you if you have darker skin because it does not involve peels or lasers, which can cause pigmentation.

A topical numbing cream is applied to the area before carrying out Microneedling treatments to ensure any pain is minimised. Variable treatment intensities allow us to further control the comfort of the treatment. It will just give you the tingling and the light prickly sensation. Obviously, you will not feel good, but at the same time, there will be no pain at all. You will just have the temporary reddening for hardly 1-2 hours after the facial.
Meso cocktails depending on skin concerns applied to the skin, containing hyaluronic acid, minerals, vitamins and peptides, which stimulates cell proliferation and so reduces the skin’s contours and improves elasticity. The Microneedling treatment is targeted and ideal for clients who have localised areas of concern.

Microneedling  stretch marks

Stretch marks can result from a whole lot of things, including pregnancy, childhood growth spurts, and genetic predisposition. Results can vary from patient to patient, often there are quite drastic before-and-after picture comparisons.
Stretch marks are tears to the connective tissue of the skin, caused by over stretching of the skin. When the connective tissue is stretched, the tear results in what’s called an epidermal atrophy along the area that has been damaged. Once this happens, the epidermis becomes thin and loses it ridges, breaking the elastic fibres and causing the epidermis to retract. When you microneedle your stretch marks, it helps to promote regeneration of the skin covering those stretch marks, which restores the contours of your skin’s surface.

Microneedling  acne scars

Acne scars are areas of fibrous tissue (fibrosis) that replace normal skin after injury. A scar results from the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. With the exception of very minor lesions, every wound (e.g. after accident, disease, surgery) results in some degree of scarring. Scar tissue is the same protein (collagen) as the tissue that it replaces, but the fibre composition of the protein is different. Instead of a nice “basket weave” formation of fibres, the collagen in scar tissue is aligned in a single direction resulting in a pronounced and thicker appearance.
There are multiple causes of acne, including hormone dysfunction, allergies, environmental factors, and nutritional deficiencies. Regardless if the cause, acne scars are a result of skin follicles becoming blocked by excessive oils. The skin will attempt to heal anyway, and scar tissue forms as the collagen becomes deformed and thickens.

Mesotherapy

Targeted nourishment. Deep rejuvenation. A glow that feels beautifully effortless.

At Sun Goddess Skin, mesotherapy is one of our signature treatments for restoring youthfulness, radiance and hydration at a level topical skincare simply cannot reach. Using ultra-fine micro-injections, potent skin-revitalising ingredients are delivered directly into the dermal layer where the skin can absorb them most effectively.

Think of mesotherapy as a customised cocktail of vitamins, peptides, amino acids and hydrating compounds that awaken tired, stressed or ageing skin—bringing it back to life from the inside out.

What Is Mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive treatment that delivers a bespoke blend of rejuvenating ingredients directly into the middle layer of the skin (the mesoderm). These micro-injections feed the skin at a cellular level, boosting hydration, collagen, elasticity and overall radiance.

Each treatment is tailored to your unique skin concerns, ensuring the most effective and natural-looking results.

Mesotherapy vs. Microneedling

Both powerful. Both rejuvenating. But beautifully different.

While mesotherapy and microneedling can complement each other, they work in different ways and offer unique benefits.

  • Improves texture, scarring and overall firmness
Excellent for fine lines, acne scars and roughness.

  • Enhances product absorption but does not inject solutions.

  • Focus: collagen induction + regeneration
